School Rules

 

  1. Students are reminded to address their teachers and all the members of the staff with due respect and politeness. On their way to and from school, they are expected to behave in a decent manner. They should show gentleness and courtesy to their companions.
  2. Wards who have been absent from class must have the reasons for their absence briefly noted in their “Regularity Records”. Birthdays, excursions and private business are not sufficient reasons. Absence from school in order to study in never allowed .No leave of absence is given without a precious application in writing from the guardian. However granting of leave is entirely up to the discretion of the Principal.
  3. No student is allowed to leave the school premises without the prior permission of the concerned authority. If violated the student himself will be solely responsible for any consequences encountered outside the school premises. The school will take strict disciplinary acting against the defaulter which can also mean expulsion.
  4. If any unauthorized absence exceeds fifteen calendar days the defaulter's name will be struck off the rolls and considered withdrawn.
  5. To be admitted to the classroom, those who have been absent and latecomers must show their teachers their “Regularity Record” duly countersigned by the Principal. In case of absence due to illness exceeding three days a registered by the doctor’s certificate should be submitted.
  6. Attendants serving the students' tiffin must come respectably dressed, wait outside once the tiffin has been served and leave immediately after. Attendants not respectably dressed may be refused admission.
  7. No books, periodicals or newspapers of an objectionable nature shall be brought into the school.
  8. Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. Each article should be marked with pupil's name, class and section.
  9. Any damage done to school property or school buses should be made good by the pupils concerned.
  10. During the absence of the teacher from the class the monitor assumes responsibility for the order and discipline in the classroom.
  11. Parents and guardians are not allowed to see their children or interview teachers during school hours.
  12. No fine of any kind or collection for any purpose whatsoever may be made without the Principal's previous sanction and notice to parents.
  13. Every child attending school is obliged to take part in the choral singing, drill, games and all the activities.
  14. If a pupil fails to reach regularly, the minimum pass marks in all subjects any concession that he may enjoy is cancelled.
  15. Presents to members of the staff or other demonstration in their honour also require the Principal's sanction.
  16. There is no provision for Reassessments or Promotion on trial.
  17. Enrollment in Daffodil school implies, on the part of the students and parents, willingness to comply with the requirements and regulations of the school.
  18. Every student should wear a clean uniform daily.
  19. In all questions of promotion or failure the Principal's decision in final.
